Legal expert Savo Štrbac, director of the Veritas Documentation and Information Center, has issued a warning to Serbian citizens traveling to Croatia to review their social media profiles. He advises that posting certain content—such as specific songs or symbols associated with historical conflicts—could lead to imprisonment or significant fines under Croatian laws regarding public order and peace.

Štrbac noted that recent cases involved individuals being sentenced to 15 days in prison for posting subversive content. While the laws apply to all nationalities, the interpretation of what constitutes a disturbance of public order can vary based on judicial practice and current circumstances.
