Croatia maintains A3 credit rating with stable outlook
Moody’s has affirmed Croatia’s credit rating at A3 with a stable outlook. Zvonimir Savić, special advisor to the Prime Minister, attributed this decision to effective institutions, a solid fiscal position characterized by reducing public debt, and strong economic growth.
Savić highlighted the successful implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Croatia has already received €7.3 billion from Brussels, with a final request for €2.7 billion currently pending. While the rating reflects progress compared to a decade ago, Moody’s noted risks including rising public debt, increased budget expenditures, and the economy's heavy reliance on tourism.
