Croatia Ministry of Defence calls for reserve officer candidates

The Croatian Ministry of Defence has issued a public call for interest to send candidates for training for the first reserve officer position. The Ministry aims to select thirty candidates for level I progressive military training within the infantry combat branch.

The training program will be organized by the ‘Dr. Franjo Tuđman’ Croatian Military Academy and is scheduled to take place from November 11 to December 10, 2026, at the ‘Gakovo’ military training ground in the Bjelovarsko-bilogorska County.

Eligible candidates must hold Croatian citizenship, have completed at least three years of secondary education, and have undergone some form of military training, such as mandatory military service or voluntary training. Applicants must also have no criminal record as defined by law. The selection process will place special emphasis on specific skills and knowledge related to the infantry combat branch.
