Croatia Ministry of the Interior extends police academy applications

The Croatian Ministry of the Interior has announced an extension for applications to the police academy program for the 2026/2027 academic year. The new deadline for submitting applications is September 18, 2026.

To be eligible, candidates must have completed a three- or four-year secondary school education and must not have reached the age of 28 by October 19, 2026. Applicants are required to possess specific psychological and physical health capabilities, meet prescribed motor skills standards, and demonstrate personal suitability for police service. Additionally, candidates must not be members of any political party.

Applications can be submitted electronically via the e-Građani system or by mail to the Ministry of the Interior's Human Resources Department in Zagreb. Required documentation includes transcripts of all secondary school grades and proof of graduation or state matriculation. For those with foreign qualifications, proof of educational equivalence is mandatory.
