Croatia national futsal team returns to Socca World Cup

The Croatian national futsal team is set to return to the Socca World Cup in Essen, Germany, following a one-year absence. The tournament, which features 48 national teams, will take place from August 28 to September 6.

Croatia aims to build on its recent successes, including silver and bronze medals at recent European championships and a bronze medal at the 2024 World Cup in Oman. The team missed last year's tournament in Mexico due to a lack of financial resources.

Head coach Dino Kovač will lead the squad, with the final roster expected to be announced early next week. Croatia has been placed in Group G, where they will face Italy, South Africa, and Peru.
