Croatia prepares media accreditation for national Victory Day ceremony in Knin

The Ministry of the Interior has opened media accreditation for the central ceremony scheduled on 5 August in Knin, marking the Day of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving, the Day of Croatian veterans and the 31st anniversary of Operation Storm. Applications must be submitted by 12:00 CET on 3 August and include the applicant’s name, media outlet, role, identification number (or passport number for foreign journalists), phone and email.

Accredited journalists can collect their passes on 4 August between 08:00‑11:00 at Kralja Krešimira 17 and on 5 August between 07:00‑07:30 at the bus station. Security checks will be carried out on 5 August at 07:00 in front of the church and at 08:00 at the bus station for those covering the program at the Fortress and stadium. Parking for media vehicles will be provided at Grabovčeva Street.

The ceremony will be broadcast from the Fortress and the stadium, with a wreath‑laying ceremony on the town square.
