Regional law enforcement reports traffic violations and local disturbances

Various law enforcement agencies across the Balkans are reporting significant traffic enforcement actions and addressing local disturbances. In Croatia, police in Slavonski Brod and Osijek-Baranja have detained multiple drivers for offenses including driving without a license, towing unregistered vehicles improperly, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. One driver in Osijek-Baranja faced heavy fines and license suspension after refusing drug tests.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, police in the Central Bosnia Canton have announced extensive radar speed checks across multiple municipalities including Travnik, Vitez, and Bugojno. Meanwhile, in the Tuzla Canton, authorities are investigating reports of a masked individual in black clothing that sparked nighttime searches by local residents. Police suspect the reports and accompanying social media footage may be unreliable or potentially generated by artificial intelligence, as no sightings could be confirmed.

In Međimurje, Croatia, police have also scheduled planned speed monitoring at specific locations to improve road safety and reduce accidents caused by excessive speed.
