Croatia retail closures for Assumption of Mary holiday

Due to the Assumption of Mary public holiday on August 15, most retail stores and shopping centers across Croatia will be closed in accordance with national trade laws.

Major supermarket chains including Lidl and Kaufland will remain closed throughout the country. Spar and Interspar hypermarkets will also be closed, with locations inside shopping centers following the centers' holiday schedules.

Konzum stores in the Croatian interior, such as Zagreb and Velika Gorica, will be closed, and online or drive-in services will be unavailable. However, some Konzum locations in coastal and tourist areas may operate under reduced holiday hours. Kaufland is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, August 16, following its standard summer schedule.
