Croatia sends 14 fighters to Muay Thai World Championships

Fourteen fighters representing the Croatian Muay Thai national team are competing in the World Senior and U24 Championships held in Peć, Kosovo, from September 1 to 11.

Several Croatian athletes have achieved notable results. Lana Mađarić secured a place in the semifinals of the U24 -63.5 kg category after a victory over a Czech opponent. In the senior tatami discipline, Andrej Ramljak reached the final after defeating an Israeli representative in the semifinals. Lovro Ivančić advanced to the semifinals following a third-round knockout victory against a Moldovan opponent.

Other medalists include Luka Rukavina and Blaž Krušelj, who both secured bronze medals in the U24 categories. Lorena Barbir has also advanced to the finals in the U24 -71 kg category following a walkover. Ongoing competitions include matches for Vito Košar and Ivan Bertić in the senior categories.
