Croatia study reveals burnout and menstrual health impacts on workers
A recent report on workplace wellbeing highlights that more than 85% of people experiencing mental‑health problems cite their jobs as a major source of stress, prompting experts to urge clear boundaries, proper use of vacation and sick days, and empathy in difficult interactions. The same research underscores the significant effect of menstrual and perimenopausal symptoms on women’s work performance, with 76.6% of respondents considering these issues taboo and many hiding symptoms for fear of being judged. Participants at a Zagreb event called 3M emphasized the need for open conversation, better education and supportive workplace policies to address both burnout and reproductive‑health challenges, arguing that these are matters of gender equality and employee welfare.
