Nikšić inaugurates new Fire Station and Congress Hall

Nikšić has inaugurated two major infrastructure projects: a new Fire Station and a multifunctional Congress Multimedia Hall located within the Dom revolucije.

The new Fire Station, valued at 3.7 million euros, is a purpose-built facility spanning approximately 2,500 square meters. It includes garage and service capacities, training areas, and accommodation for the Protection and Rescue Service.

Additionally, the Congress Multimedia Hall in the Dom revolucije, costing roughly 3.3 million euros, has been opened to serve as a modern venue for congresses, concerts, and exhibitions. This project is part of the city’s broader transformation efforts as it prepares for its role as the European Capital of Culture in 2030.

Separately, reconstruction work is underway at the Nikšić General Hospital's Children's Department. The 480,000 euro project aims to modernize accommodation, electrical, and plumbing systems to improve conditions for young patients and medical staff.
