The Croatia U19 national football team suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against France in a friendly match held in Dunkovci-Pretetinci.

France took the lead in the 39th minute through a goal by Milan Leccese. Croatia responded in the second half, with 17-year-old Slaven Belupo player Vito Papac scoring the equalizer in the 61st minute. However, France secured the victory in the final moments of the match when Ilyas Azizi scored in the 89th minute.

The Croatian squad, led by coach Siniša Oreščanin, continues its international friendly series with upcoming matches scheduled against Italy on October 1 and Turkey on October 4.
