Croatia weather shifts from heavy rain to clearing skies and stormy winds

Croatia is experiencing a transition in weather patterns following a period of heavy rainfall caused by a passing cyclone. While much of the country has seen significant precipitation, particularly in Lika and Dalmatia, the weather is expected to clear up gradually from the northwest throughout the day.

Meteorologists from the State Hydrometeorological Service warn of a stormy bura wind along the Adriatic coast, with potentially gale-force gusts, especially near Velebit. While central regions will see clearing skies and temperatures between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius, the coast may see highs up to 23 degrees Celsius.

The upcoming week is expected to bring more stable conditions. Monday will feature some clouds and light rain in certain areas, while Tuesday is forecast to be mostly sunny and dry, though mornings will become progressively colder.
