Croatia wins two bronze medals at European Para Swimming Championships
Croatian athletes secured two additional medals on the final day of the European Para Swimming Championships in Kocaeli, Turkey. Emma Mečić won bronze in the 100m backstroke (S9) with a time of 1:14.31, following her silver medal in the 400m freestyle earlier in the week.
Paula Novina earned bronze in the 200m individual medley (SM8), finishing with a time of 2:52.96, narrowly beating the fourth-place finisher by two hundredths of a second. This marks Novina's second major medal at the championships.
Croatia concluded the eighth edition of the European Championships with a total of four medals: one silver and three bronze. Other Croatian participants included Dino Sinovčić, who won bronze in the 100m backstroke (S6), and Matthew Čabraja and Karlo Knežević, who finished eighth in their respective events.
