Croatia workplace study: 23% of employees exhausted after work

A study conducted by Alma Career Croatia, through its brand MojPosao, reveals significant levels of workplace exhaustion among employees in Croatia. Based on a sample of 300 respondents, the research examined how much energy workers retain for family, friends, hobbies, and rest after their working day.

Findings indicate that 23 percent of respondents are completely exhausted by their jobs, leaving them with no energy for a private life. Furthermore, 37 percent of participants reported having only enough energy to manage basic daily necessities, such as household chores, eating, showering, and resting. Some respondents noted working shifts exceeding 12 hours or performing the workload of two people.

While 29 percent of employees stated they still possess some energy, they noted it is significantly less than desired, often limiting their ability to engage in preferred activities. Conversely, 11 percent of those surveyed reported having sufficient energy for all their desired post-work activities.
