Youth sports competitions see major milestones and results

Various youth sports championships are underway across Europe. In basketball, the Serbian U21 men's 3x3 team secured second place at the Nations League in Bucharest after a final loss to France. Meanwhile, the Serbian U16 boys' basketball team maintained a perfect record at the EuroBasket Division B, securing three consecutive wins against Switzerland, Cyprus, and North Macedonia.

In handball, Montenegro's U18 women's team reached the World Championship final in Romania, facing Spain for the gold medal following a semifinal victory over Denmark. This marks a historic milestone for the generation, as they secured at least a silver medal.

In volleyball, the Montenegrin women's team won their first official test match against Austria with a 3:1 score, serving as preparation for the European Championship. In basketball, the Serbian U16 cadets suffered a narrow 73:75 loss to Romania in the second round of the European Championship after a last-second shot by the host team.
