Croatia youth teams advance in basketball and volleyball championships

The Croatian U-16 boys' basketball team secured first place in Group B of the European Championship Division B after defeating Iceland 80:53. The victory ensures their advancement to the quarterfinals, where they will compete for promotion to the elite tier of European basketball. Despite a lower assist count and shooting percentage, Croatia's aggressive defense forced 24 turnovers from the Icelandic side.

In women's volleyball, the Croatian U-17 national team finished second in Group C at the World Championship in Chile following a 3:1 victory over Argentina. Led by Ivezić's 23 points, the team moves into the knockout phase, where they are scheduled to face the Czech Republic in the round of 16.
