Croatian and Bosnian schools hold graduation ceremonies and anniversaries

In Pregrada, Croatia, the secondary school celebrated the graduation of 113 students on 29 June 2026. Deputy county mayor Jasna Petek presented certificates and special awards, praising the graduates with remarks such as “You came as children, you leave as young, formed people on the threshold of your future.”

Srednja škola Delnice marked its 101st anniversary with a ceremony attended by deputy county mayor Toni Štimac, the school principal Hrvoje Musinov, and other officials. The event highlighted the first cohort of forestry‑technician students after the programme’s reinstatement and included awards for top‑performing pupils.

In Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gazi Husrev‑begova medresa gathered the “war generation” of 1995/96 graduates for a 30‑year reunion. Former students, now spread across continents, recalled their studies during the Bosnian war, honored deceased teachers, and held a communal prayer in the medresa’s mosque, underscoring the lasting bonds formed at the institution.
