Croatian and Slovenian municipal councils approve multi‑million infrastructure projects

The municipal council of Strahoninec in Croatia voted unanimously to support GKP Čakom's investment in a new waste‑management facility at the Totovec landfill, co‑financing the loan with other owners. The council also addressed an anonymous letter alleging false information about the urban plan, urging a police investigation.

In Slovenia, the Zagorje municipal council approved a nearly €1 million project that will combine the construction of a bicycle path linking the music school to Selo with the installation of water, sewage, roads, sidewalks and public lighting. The plan includes the potential development of 19 residential units and receives co‑financing of about €250,000 from external partners, with work scheduled over the next two years.
