Croatian and Slovenian theatres roll out low‑price seasonal programmes

The Croatian National Theatre in Osijek (HNK Osijek) has launched the KLIK initiative, offering six popular shows – a drama, concert, operetta, vaudeville and a classic comedy – for a single ticket price of six euros. The programme begins on 4 September with the drama “Dok zvijezde ne padnu” and runs through late September, covering titles such as “Gospodar muha”, “Dva u jedan” and “Maratonci trče počasni krug”. Tickets are sold at the theatre box office and online.

In Slovenia, the Poletno gledališče Studenec presented the musical comedy “Habakuk” by Dr. Rudolf Dobovišek as part of the 26th Cultural Summer Festival. Directed by Alojz Stražar, the performance combines singing, dancing and a wartime‑era storyline set between the world wars. The show featured a 40‑member ensemble, guest singers from the Kamnik choir and a full production crew. Performances are scheduled throughout July and August, with tickets available by phone or on the theatre’s website.
