Croatian Armed Forces complete instructor training for new TATRA trucks

Members of the Croatian Armed Forces have completed the first instructor training session for the new TATRA T-815-7 FORCE military trucks. The two-week training took place at the 123rd Brigade barracks and the Glavica road training ground in Požega, involving both theoretical classroom instruction and practical field exercises.

The instructors, who previously received training in the Czech Republic, are tasked with training future drivers in vehicle handling across various road and off-road conditions, as well as performing user maintenance. This procurement is part of a broader modernization effort to increase the mobility and transport support capabilities of the Croatian military.

The TATRA T-815-7 FORCE trucks feature a specialized chassis designed for demanding terrain, including independent swinging half-axles and air suspension. These 6x6 vehicles possess an 11.5-ton payload capacity and are equipped with 402 HP engines. They are capable of navigating water obstacles up to 1.5 meters deep and overcoming steps up to 50 cm in height.
