Croatian community organizations celebrate major anniversaries

Several community organizations in Croatia are celebrating significant milestones. The Women's Association of Gornji Kuršanec (Udruga žena Gornji Kuršanec) marked its 20th anniversary with a ceremony attended by local officials, including Mayor Nikola Novaksa. Led by President Irena Kocijan since its founding in 2006, the association was established following participation in tug-of-war competitions.

In Kloštar Ivanić, the Kloštranske mažoretkinje majorette group celebrated 30 years of activity. Founded in 1996, the group currently consists of 60 members across four age categories, ranging from pre-school to seniors. The organization, led by President Mira-Iskra Bičanić, was recognized with the Zagreb County Charter for its contributions to local social life and its representation of the municipality at domestic and international events.
