Croatian cultural associations celebrate local traditions and heritage

Cultural and artistic associations in Croatia are celebrating local traditions through various community events. Members of the KUD ‘fra Marijan Lanosović’ from Orubice recently marked the wedding of member Ena Lanusović by following local customs, including traditional singing and gifting ceremonies.

Additionally, the cultural association KUD Otrovanec and the Zavičajna udruga Kordunaša ‘Korana’ celebrated ten years of friendship with a joint folklore performance at Plitvice Lakes National Park. The event featured traditional songs, dances, and folk costumes, highlighting the role of folklore in preserving cultural heritage and fostering community connections.
