Croatian festivals in Pula and Balama showcase local theatre and music

At the Pula Film Festival, veteran entertainer Damir Martinović Mr. marked his 65th birthday. He arrived with partner Ivanka Mazurkijević and their daughters, 19‑year‑old Roža and 14‑year‑old Eva. The sisters performed their own songs on the festival stage, with Eva presenting an original piece from the "Canzonette fiumane" collection.

A few days later, the 6th Bembo Fest in Balama drew audiences to a performance of Ivana Vidić’s comedy "Kronika seoske ljubavi". Actors Gordana Gadžić and Sreten Mokrović portrayed the middle‑aged couple Ljubica and Milivoj, earning strong applause for their portrayal of late‑life romance and village life. The festival program also featured children's shows and additional theatrical pieces.
