Croatian Futsal League: Osijek Kandit and Rijeka secure opening wins

The new season of the SuperSport Croatian Futsal League has commenced with notable victories for Osijek Kandit and HNK Rijeka.

Osijek Kandit secured a 4-1 away win against Crnica at the Baldekin arena in Šibenik. Lima led the scoring for the visitors with two goals, while Madruga added two more to secure the victory. Despite a goal from Crnica's Žilić, Osijek Kandit maintained control through a strong defensive block and effective counter-attacks.

In the Adriatic derby, HNK Rijeka defeated Hajduk Split 4-2 at the Zamet hall. Although Hajduk took a 2-1 lead into halftime following two goals from Cikojević, Rijeka responded strongly in the second half. Despite playing with a man down for a period after Luka Suton received a red card, Rijeka scored three unanswered goals through Bilić and Rafinha to claim the win.
