Croatian hospitals announce major recruitment drives

Healthcare institutions in Croatia are actively recruiting staff to address operational needs. KBC Osijek has announced openings for students through student services to work as patient porters. The role involves transporting patients for diagnostic procedures and examinations under the supervision of medical staff. The position requires physical fitness and availability for shifts including evenings and weekends, with higher pay rates for night, holiday, and weekend work.

Simultaneously, Opća bolnica Zadar is seeking 128 employees, primarily nurses, to bolster its workforce. The hospital also maintains an ongoing call for doctors and is participating in a coordinated national wave of medical specialization competitions following new Ministry of Health regulations. To attract medical professionals from other regions or abroad, the city of Zadar is providing housing assistance through municipal apartments.
