Croatian Military Academy awards first officer ranks to 65 cadets

A ceremony was held at the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Croatian Military Academy in Zagreb to award the first officer ranks to 65 male and female cadets. The group includes students from various programs, including Aeronautic studies, Military Engineering, Military Command and Management, and Military Maritime studies.

During the event, State Secretary Branko Hrg, representing the Minister of Defense, emphasized that while the Croatian Armed Forces are undergoing modernization and new system implementations, the human element remains paramount. Ivica Olujić, defense advisor to the President, urged the new officers to remain professional and embrace the challenges ahead. Brigadier Damir Stručić, Deputy Commander of the Academy, noted that the ceremony marks the transition from years of rigorous study and military training to new professional responsibilities.
