Croatian military leadership training concludes maritime phase on Korčula

Officers and non-commissioned officers from Croatia and several partner nations have completed a demanding maritime training phase on the island of Korčula. The exercise is part of the 13th generation of the leadership development program conducted by the ‘Marko Babić’ Leadership Development Center.

A total of 35 participants are involved in the program, including 19 international personnel from Slovenia, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. The training is conducted entirely in English to facilitate cooperation among the diverse group.

The maritime phase focused on physical endurance, tactical tasks, and decision-making under stress. Participants engaged in activities such as navigating water obstacles, rowing, and managing inflatable boat capsizes to test their ability to organize crews and maintain composure in unpredictable environments. The program aims to integrate classroom learning with practical, high-pressure field exercises to foster teamwork and individual responsibility.
