Croatian municipalities initiate public consultations on infrastructure and fees
Local government authorities in Croatia have initiated public consultation processes regarding municipal infrastructure and communal fees.
The Municipality of Baška has released a draft proposal for its communal infrastructure maintenance program for the year 2027. This initiative is part of the municipality's planning for local development and utility management.
In Gospić, the city administration has published a draft decision concerning the value of the communal fee point. This process aims to inform the public and collect feedback on the proposed rates, which are used to fund the maintenance and construction of communal infrastructure, including roads, public spaces, drainage systems, and cemeteries. According to local law, the value of this point must be determined in euros per square meter to ensure the continued financing of essential public services.
