Croatian municipalities provide school supply subsidies

Several Croatian municipalities are providing financial support to students for the 2026/2027 school year to assist families with educational costs.

In Ivanska Brina, the municipality has allocated 12,928.20 euros to co-finance workbooks, worksheets, and task collections for all primary school students. Additionally, in collaboration with the Čazma Police Station, the municipality provided educational gifts to first-graders and organized traffic safety training titled ‘Respect Our Signs’ to prepare young students for safe travel to school.

In Povljana, the municipality is offering reimbursements for school materials to residents. Primary school students are eligible for the full cost of workbooks and other educational materials, while high school students can receive coverage for the full cost of both textbooks and workbooks. Parents must first pay for the materials and then submit a request with receipts and required documentation to the municipality for reimbursement.
