Croatian music scene initiatives focus on networking and cultural forums

The Croatian music scene is seeing a resurgence of cultural dialogue and organizational networking. The Croatian Society of Composers (HDS) has announced the return of its musical-speaking forums, ‘Nota mog života’ and ‘Moje pjesme, moje molitve’, following a three-year hiatus. These monthly sessions, held in the newly renovated HDS hall, will feature prominent figures such as Slavko Nedić, Siniša Škarica, and Nenad Ninčević.

Simultaneously, the Croatian Association of Music Organizers (HUGO) is working to unify the national concert scene. Following the EDUCLASSICA 2026 summit at the Zagreb Music Academy, organizers Dina Bušić and Marin Kaporelo introduced an interactive map designed to connect various musical organizers across the country. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between established institutions and smaller local cultural initiatives to better utilize Croatia's musical potential.
