Croatian para-sports clubs celebrate major anniversaries

Several Croatian para-sports organizations are celebrating significant milestones. The Donat Sports Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired recently marked its 10th anniversary in Zadar. Founded in 2016, the association has seen success in sports such as darts and chess, utilizing specialized equipment like sound-based dartboards. The organization plans to expand its activities to include competitive bowling by the 2027/2028 season.

In Split, the Para Volleyball Club Split is celebrating 20 years of operation. Originally established in 2006, the club has progressed from local activities to competing in the First Croatian League and international tournaments. The club has produced approximately ten national team players and focuses on the rehabilitation and resocialization of persons with disabilities and veterans through sports and humanitarian projects.
