Croatian Parliament invites students to educational programs

The Croatian Parliament has invited eighth-grade primary school students and high school students to participate in educational programs scheduled for the spring of 2027. The initiative includes an online quiz titled ‘How well do you know the Croatian Parliament?’ and a simulated parliamentary session.

For eighth graders, the quiz will take place on March 5, 2027, focusing on the history, role, and work of the Parliament based on the history curriculum. High school students will participate in an online quiz on March 12, 2027, covering topics from the politics and economics curriculum, such as constitutional competencies and legislative procedures.

A simulated parliamentary session for high school students is set for April 26, 2027. Students will act as representatives to debate the Law on the Ombudsman and the Declaration on the Rights of Retirees and Older Persons, experiencing the full process from committee positions to final voting. The program aims to provide practical knowledge of political institutions and encourage youth involvement in public policy making.
