Croatian pipeline operator Janaf posts €28 million profit in first half

Jadranski naftovod (Janaf) reported a net profit of almost €28 million for the first six months of the year, with total revenues of €74.3 million – a 7.6% increase compared with the same period last year. Revenue from its core activities of oil transport and storage reached €70 million, of which about 74% (€52 million) came from foreign customers and €18 million from the domestic market.

The company’s management, led by President Stjepan Adanić and board members Vladislav Veselić and Ivan Barbarić, said the results demonstrate stability and resilience amid complex geopolitical conditions in the energy market. The strong performance allows Janaf to continue investing in expanding storage capacity, diversifying into renewable energy projects and strengthening its international presence through a hydrocarbon research project in Kazakhstan.
