Croatian players Duje Dujmović and Eniss Shabani join Polish clubs
Centre‑back Duje Dujmović, 22, left Zrinjski Mostar after a season of strong performances and, on the recommendation of former coach Igor Štimac, signed a permanent two‑year contract (with an option for a third year) with Polish side Wieczysta Kraków. He will wear the number 55 jersey and is noted for his height (190 cm), left‑footed defensive ability and composure under pressure.
Midfielder Eniss Shabani, 23, who helped Vukovar 1991 avoid relegation with 27 league appearances and four assists, also secured a two‑year deal, this time with Ekstraklasa club Śląsk Wrocław. Despite interest from numerous Croatian teams, he chose Poland, where he will be coached by Ante Šimundža.
Both transfers reflect a growing trend of promising Croatian talent moving to the Polish leagues to advance their careers.
