Croatian soldier wins individual title at military drone competition

A member of the Croatian Armed Forces’ Intelligence Regiment has secured first place in the individual category at the Best International Military Drone Team Competition (BIMDTC) held in Ankara, Türkiye. The competition, organized by the Turkish Land Forces Command, focuses on the operation of first-person-view (FPV) drones.

While the Croatian serviceman achieved the highest individual score, the Croatian team finished seventh in the overall team competition. The event includes participants from Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, aiming to foster international cooperation and the exchange of technical expertise in drone racing and teamwork.

This achievement follows a recent success for the Croatian Special Forces Command, which won first place in the tactical category at an international FPV drone competition in London.
