Students from Gimnazija Ivana Zakmardija in Križevci won the Croatian 3×3 basketball championship at the state finals in Poreč. The team of Fabijan Gužvinec, Matija Antolić, Bruno Pukec and Petar Filipović defeated Olimpija 1908 Karlovac 17‑13 in the final after a 21‑19 semi‑final win over Bjelovar. Coach Saša Šikić and city officials congratulated the players, highlighting the growing popularity of 3×3 basketball.

Pupils from the Art School Poreč also secured top honors in national music contests. At the 64th Croatian accordion competition in Zagreb, David Pršurić earned first place in the C category and Matteo Ukota took second in the A category. The same students, along with Diego Bernobić and Andrija Priček, won multiple awards at the Daruvar Accordion Award. Additionally, the school’s young pianists achieved three second‑place medals at the 29th International Youth Music Competition "Daleki akordi" in Split, with Eli Žiković, Mihael Duka and Kloe Žiković earning high scores.
