Croatia wins bronze in 4x100m freestyle relay at European Championships

The Croatian men's 4x100m freestyle relay team won the bronze medal at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris. The quartet, consisting of Jere Hribar, Vlaho Nenadić, Vili Sivec, and Toni Dragoja, finished with a time of 3:11.08. This achievement marks Croatia's first swimming medal at a European championship in a 50-meter pool in ten years.

In the final, Hungary took gold with a time of 3:10.03, while a neutral Russian team secured silver at 3:10.12. Spain finished fourth. The Croatian team set a new national record during the morning heats with a time of 3:13.06 before improving significantly in the final.

Individual performances also highlighted the championships for Croatia. Jere Hribar set a new national record in the 100m freestyle with a time of 47.42, finishing fifth in the final. Additionally, Luka Čarapović established a new Croatian record in the 50m backstroke with a time of 25.36.
