Croatian teen series ‘Sram’ confirmed for fourth season
The Croatian teen drama Sram, produced by CGM FILMS for Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT), has been green‑lit for a fourth season after three highly successful runs that amassed more than 300 million views across digital platforms. The new season, slated to premiere in autumn on HRT’s first channel and its official online channels, will centre on Vanessa, a young Roma woman navigating family expectations, social prejudice and love.
Series creators highlighted the continuation as an opportunity to deepen discussions of identity, belonging and adolescent challenges. Production credits include producers Ivan Lovreček and Bruna Mustić, director Jelena Gavrilović, writers Sandra Pašić and Emma Kliman, among others. The show's blend of broadcast episodes with real‑time digital content has built a strong fan community in Croatia and abroad, reinforcing Sram’s status as a leading domestic series for youth.
The fourth season aims to further the series’ reputation for authentic storytelling while addressing contemporary social themes through Vanessa’s narrative.
