Croatian tennis star Donna Vekić wins London WTA 500 title

Donna Vekić captured the WTA 500 tournament at Queen's Club in London, defeating Britain’s Emma Raducanu 6‑0, 7‑6 (6) in the final. It was Vekić’s fifth career WTA title and her second on grass. The victory propelled her up 43 places on the new WTA rankings, moving her to No. 33 overall and making her the highest‑ranked Croatian female player. The ranking jump also placed her just behind Raducanu, who rose 11 spots. Other Croatian players also improved: Petra Marčinko to No. 52, Antonia Ružić to No. 57, Lea Bošković and Lucija Ćirić Bagarić into the top 400.
