Croatian TikTok users share travel and cleaning hacks

TikTok has become a hub for practical travel tips in Croatia. Users demonstrate five viral hacks: scanning Google Maps satellite images to locate uncrowded beaches, sealing phones in a zip‑lock bag to protect them from sand and water, using the Aircash app to purchase bus, ferry and parking tickets in a few clicks, and repurposing a pillow as a travel cushion that also creates extra packing space.

A separate TikTok trend shows how shaving foam can be applied to mattresses to lift protein‑based stains such as sweat, blood, urine and skin oils. Cleaning specialist Isabella Flores explains that the foam’s surfactants break down fats, making it effective for these stains, though it works poorly on wine, coffee or ink. The method involves spreading a thin layer of foam on the spot, letting it act for 15‑30 minutes (up to an hour for tough marks), then wiping away the residue and drying the surface.
