Croatia hosts a series of summer cultural festivals in July

The coastal town of Njivice will hold the ninth Ice Cream Festival from 6 to 12 July, featuring dozens of local producers, dessert innovations and nightly music performances by groups such as Vatra and Marko Tolja.

In Kaštel, the INK theatre presents two open‑air evenings on 24 and 25 July, staging Jean Cocteau’s Ljudski glas and a concert version of Istra ti mila materina, with performances by actress‑singer Elis Lovrić.

Gavella opens the Zadarsko Summer Theatre with the award‑winning radio‑drama Mediterranean Brief, a programme that blends stage, music and a closing jazz‑blues concert by Hamilton de Holanda.

Viškovo’s tourist board organizes free open‑air concerts on 10 July (klapa Luka) and 24 July (Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca), followed by a “Taste and Listen” evening on 31 July that combines local wine, cuisine and a comedy‑drama show.

Rijeka continues its Summer Fest at Trsat Castle from 3 to 5 July, offering electronic sets by house producer Rosbeh, a concert by Tony Cetinski and the “Pul Kaštela” outdoor art exhibition.
