Croatian and Bosnian towns host municipal festivals

Several municipalities in Croatia and Bosnia celebrated local festivals and municipal days this week. In Đurmanec, the municipality marked Statehood Day with a weekend program featuring concerts by the band Crvena jabuka and a 3‑on‑3 football tournament honoring war hero Željko Pavić.

Novigrad Podravski held its municipal day ceremony, showcasing completed road upgrades, new public facilities and upcoming projects funded partly by EU sources.

Krapinske Toplice marked its municipal day with a ceremony at Vuglec Breg, highlighting recent reconstruction and energy‑modernisation of local schools and cultural venues, and announcing social support measures for residents.

The BOB Fest in the Gorski Kotar region offered visitors a range of local food products, including 800 handcrafted berry strudels, and a programme of outdoor activities and live music.

In Gradačac, Bosnia, a Gastro Fest dedicated to plums took place during the International Plum Fair, where over twenty participants presented traditional and modern plum‑based desserts.

Vinkovci hosted the second “Baština za sutra” traditional crafts fair, promoting local artisans and handmade products.

Additionally, Bosnian officials in Stolac reaffirmed commitments to equal rights for all constituent peoples and highlighted ongoing development projects in the town.
