Croatia's Luxury Property Market: Record Prices in Zagreb and a New Celebrity Villa on Lavdara
In Zagreb, several high‑end residential complexes are selling at more than €10,000 per square metre, with some units reaching over €13,000 per square metre. The Ban Centar development on Ban Jelačić Square, the Gold Residence near Ribnjak park, and the Park Kneževa complex are highlighted as the city’s most expensive buildings, offering panoramic views and premium finishes.
At the same time, Croatian national goalkeeper Dominik Livaković is constructing a traditional stone villa on the quiet island of Lavdara, near Dugi Otok. The project follows a Dalmatian architectural style, using natural stone facades and aiming to blend with the surrounding landscape. Construction is ongoing, with the main structure already in place but finishing work still to be completed.
