Croatia's mandatory pension funds reach 29.1 billion euros in assets
Net assets of Croatia's mandatory pension funds (OMF) reached 29.1 billion euros at the end of August, representing a 3.1 percent increase of 345.6 million euros compared to the previous month, according to the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa).
The funds have a total of 2,423,613 members, an increase of 5,342 individuals since July. During August, 8,407 new members joined, with 96 percent automatically assigned by the Central Registry of Insured Persons (Regos). Membership decreased for 3,065 individuals due to retirement or death.
In terms of performance, Category A funds saw an annual growth of 19.11 percent, Category B grew by 10.4 percent, and Category C increased by 1.21 percent. Bonds remain the dominant investment type, totaling 16 billion euros and accounting for 54.74 percent of the total investment structure.
