Croatia's Požega‑Slavonia tourism board receives €300k grant, OPGs eligible for up to €20k support

The Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) has approved €300,000 in funding for the Požega‑Slavonia County tourism board. The money will be allocated to projects such as "Experience Stories" (€120,000), cultural tourism initiatives (€100,000) and the Stage & Events 2026 programme (€80,000). The aim is to reduce uneven tourism development, strengthen the region’s brand and promote sustainable tourism.

Separately, the Ministry of Tourism and Sport issued a public call for non‑repayable grants to support the green and digital transition of tourism entrepreneurs. A total of €700,000 is set aside for family farms (OPG) that provide hospitality services, with grants ranging from €5,000 to €20,000 per applicant. Applications must be submitted electronically by 30 July 2026.
