Croatia's summer music festivals attract crowds in Labin and Šibenik

The Labin Jazz Festival, organized by the City of Labin with support from the Croatian Ministry of Culture and artistic direction by Robert Mikuljan, ran for three days ending on July 19. It featured the Leon Brenko Trio, Branimir Gazdik Quintet and Miro Kadoić Quartet, drawing enthusiastic audiences and multiple encores.

At the historic Tvrđava sv. Mihovila in Šibenik, a series of sold‑out concerts showcased international acts such as Robert Plant, Wilco, Thievery Corporation, the British rock band Skunk Anansie fronted by Skin, and soul singer Joss Stone. Concertgoers participated actively, with repeated calls for encores and vocal responses to the performers' messages.
