Crocetta U15 baseball team heads to Little League World Series in Michigan

The Under‑15 squad of the Farma Crocetta Junior League from San Pancrazio, Italy, is departing on 9 August for Taylor, Michigan, to compete in the Little League World Series. The team earned its place by winning the EMEA qualifying tournament in Kutno, Poland, without a loss, marking Italy’s first appearance in the global youth baseball championship in seven years.

The trip is fully financed and organized by Little League International in partnership with Major League Baseball. Players will stay in a five‑star hotel, wear official kits, and take part in a Media Day with photo sessions and autograph cards. All games will be broadcast live on ESPN, and the local Italian‑American community in Michigan is expected to provide strong support. Manager Michele Bramini highlighted the achievement as a reward for years of work and the exceptional character of the group.
