Crocs announces marketplace revenue shift following record Q2 earnings

Crocs Inc. reported record second‑quarter 2026 revenue of $1.2 billion, a 2 % increase year over year, driven by strong direct‑to‑consumer growth and international sales. CEO Andrew Rees said the quarter marked an “important inflection” for the Crocs and HEYDUDE brands, with Crocs DTC sales up 12 % and international revenue rising 7 % led by double‑digit growth in China, India and Japan. The company also highlighted robust performance on marketplace platforms such as TikTok Shop and Amazon Prime Day.

In the same earnings call the company announced a change to how it will recognize revenue from its largest marketplace partners in North America. Beginning in the third quarter, sales from these marketplaces will be shifted from the direct‑to‑consumer segment to wholesale, lowering reported total revenue but improving operating profit. CFO Patrick Reagan stressed that the adjustment does not affect units sold or market share.
