Crosia placed second in Italy's Sport e Periferia provisional ranking, eyes new sports field funding
The municipality of Crosia in Italy secured second place in the provisional list of the Ministry of Sport’s “Sport e Periferia” competition. The ranking relates to its proposal to build a new municipal sports field that would serve local clubs, youth groups and the wider community.
Mayor Maria Teresa Aiello hailed the result as proof of serious planning and quality project design, while Public Works assessor Giuseppe Pedace and Sports assessor Antonio Graziani highlighted the effort of the technical offices and the potential for the final ranking to unlock the promised funding.
If the definitive list confirms the provisional outcome, the town expects to receive national financing to construct a modern, safe and functional sports facility, strengthening its sport infrastructure and opportunities for residents.
